Maria Montessori's most famous writing preparation material is metal frame inserts. Children circle the figures, create ornaments from them, then shade them. The key exercise is hatching. Fascinated by the creation of a beautiful pattern, the child imperceptibly works out the technique of continuous writing. His hand becomes less and less tense, and the strokes are more even and frequent.
Montessori patterns are created on the basis of classical material, arranged according to the principle from simple to complex and are intended for independent work of the child.
Teachers note an interesting feature of the patterns - they are used with equal enthusiasm by children of all ages and different levels of training. Even free-writing children enthusiastically create new hatching masterpieces and improve their skills.
