In these collections, we have brought together what children love most: time-tested classics and the best contemporary books. Of course, any list is subjective, but here you will find what is most popular with readers and what we are happy to recommend ourselves.

There is no single approved list of books for school reading in Russia. The choice of works to study in literature classes is left to the teacher. For example, one school may study "Scarlet Sails," while another does not. "A Sportsman's Sketches" might be introduced in the 5th grade in some places, the 6th in others, and the 7th in others.
However, there are recommended lists and patterns—based on them, as well as on our own experience, we have compiled lists of works that will be interesting and useful for young readers.
