How to participate in the program?
To join our loyalty program, simply create your profile on the website. Make sure to subscribe to our weekly newsletter, even if you're not particularly interested in it. If you don't, unfortunately, we won't be able to send you notifications about earned points and books from your wishlist that have arrived in stock.
How to earn points?
Points are earned for each order, as well as for actions listed in the "Ways to earn points" section. The number of points you receive for each dollar spent depends on your level in the loyalty program. The level is determined by the total amount of orders (before taxes and discounts) placed by you on the site. Loyalty program levels:
- Boat (basic level, 1 dollar spent = 1 point)
- Car (total order amount on the site $250CAD+, $1 = 1.2 points)
- Train ($500CAD+, $1 = 1.5 points)
- Airplane ($1000CAD+, $1 = 1.8 points)
- Rocket ($3000CAD+, $1 = 2 points)
How to spend points?
Points can be exchanged for discounts, with 200 points giving a $10 CAD discount (conversion to other currencies based on the exchange rate on the order day). Only amounts of points that are multiples of 200 can be exchanged. After exchanging points for a discount, click the "Apply" button in the "Ways to spend points" section. Only one discount code can be used per order. You have 90 days from the point of earning the points to exchange them for a discount; after that, the points expire. The timer can be reset by placing a new order, which will keep your points balance intact.
What else should you know about the program?
The currency for calculating earned and spent points is Canadian dollars. Points are calculated based on the total order amount, excluding discounts, shipping, and taxes. Points are not earned when purchasing gift cards or when placing orders with school and daycare discounts. Loyalty program discounts cannot be combined with other discounts. Only one promo code can be used per purchase.
How long is the discount valid for the "Refer a Friend" program?
The discount is valid for 10 days from the moment the friend places an order. It needs to be copied from the email and entered in the "promo code" field at checkout. The discount is not extendable or redeemable for cash.
