It’s co-o-old! It’s co-o-old...
That was the star dog's complaint to Alisa Selezneva in Moscow one summer. It didn't say anything else, just kept repeating "cold, cold."
Star dogs are rare creatures that roam the expanses of the universe. They look exactly like ordinary dogs and are quite clever and sharp-witted, but they can only remember one word at a time—they aren't exactly eloquent.
But what does this "cold" mean? Who is cold, and where? Why? And is it so important that someone would send a dog all the way to Earth to report these adverse climatic conditions? It must be. It must be important. Let's fly off to find out! Fortunately, Alisa is on vacation and was already planning a space voyage.
It turned out to be true! Several planets are in distress due to an inexplicable drop in temperature. On one planet, a miraculous volcano—the best resort in the entire Galaxy—has gone out. On another, wondrous gardens are dying and unique animals are freezing. Apparently, some children are involved in these problems with the sharp decline in thermal energy. Alisa must find them and stop the destruction of the ecosystems.
Alisa must infiltrate the "SchNastyKids" (School for Nasty Kids) and become a real bad guy. We’ve never seen our little Alisa like this: she’ll be rude and pick fights, threaten everyone with a pocket atomic bomb, and tell her classmates that she bumped off her parents and burned down her school...
