Загадайте желание. У вас 60 попыток

Make a wish. You have 60 attempts.

You might think that when a wizard appears in a city, the most wonderful things happen immediately: every child gets a bicycle, candy rains from the sky, and teachers at school just hand out top marks? That is a common misconception, but wizards aren't always kind. Once, in Leningrad, a magical boy showed up, and he was just awful: lazy, selfish, cold, and yet almost omnipotent. He only performed miracles for himself, and only of the most primitive kind.

If fourth-grader Tolik had known what his acquaintance with such a "wizard" would lead to, he wouldn't have touched that box of matches with a finger. But Tolik didn't know... The box ended up in his possession, and it wasn't just any box: you only have to break a match, and your wish will unfailingly come true. And do you know how many matches are in the box? There are 60! This isn't some genie with three measly attempts, or even a magic flower with seven petals. You can cause quite a stir with sixty wishes... Therefore, starting small, Tolik gained such momentum that by the middle of the book he found himself in the Epicurean world of the boy-wizard, where the slightest whim is satisfied immediately, without even needing to waste matches.

As for how Tolik spent his time in that parallel reality, whether he liked it, and how he fled from there as fast as his legs could carry him after first knocking out a robot servant, you will read for yourselves!
