Angels Navarro: learning notebooks for little geniuses

Angels Navarro is a licensed psychologist specializing in psychomotor play therapy. On this topic, she conducted a lot of research, repeatedly participated in exhibitions and conferences.

Angels is a regular contributor to the popular magazine El Periódico de Catalunya and the newspapers Escuela and Cavall Fort. Angels published her first book in 2003, and today there are more than 100 books. Angels Navarro's books have been translated into 28 languages.

All Angels Navarro notebooks are designed so that the child does not perceive classes as something boring and serious. Cute pictures seem to be drawn by a child's hand, and spreads please with pleasant pastel colors. The background for each task is different. Readers say the pages look like canvases dyed in natural colors, or patches of chintz with a cheerful pattern.

Easy and difficult tasks alternate. This is an important difference from other developmental notebooks: there is no need to follow a certain sequence. If a puzzle seems too difficult for a child, he can go to the next page, and after a week try his hand again. And no wonder. Have you ever seen black and white stickers that you can color in yourself?

Children don't need to be forced to "learn" from a notebook. For kids, it's fun. Well, a nice bonus from such activities is the consolidation of important skills. Games will help the child to repeat numbers, practice simple arithmetic, better master ordinal counting, prepare his hand for writing, broaden his horizons, develop attentiveness and logical thinking.
