Here is the best, in our opinion, RFL (Russian as a foreign language) program for beginners that exists today. Marianne Avery invented it for her students, but the textbooks quickly gained popularity, and now thousands of schoolchildren study from them. The course is designed for children 7-9 years old who do not yet speak or speak Russian poorly. Each level consists of a textbook, a workbook and a teacher's book. There are 4 levels in total (Forty 1, Forty 2, Forty 3 and Sundress). The textbooks are beautiful, bright, with many interesting exercises and assignments, games and comics. The child is immediately immersed in communication situations, and the lack of grammatical knowledge is not a hindrance.
