Pavel Bazhov: Malachite box
The usual price $49.95 In 1966, for the publishing house "Artist of the RSFSR" N. Kochergin made a set of twelve postcards to the tales of P. Bazhov - one postcard for each tale. More precisely, twelve were published - he prepared more, in the artist's archive, pencil sketches for the tales "Cast-Iron Grandmother" and "Cat's Ears" were preserved, as well as his explanations for the content of the postcards. Unfortunately, no traces of the artist's work on the book of tales could be found. The master, it seems, did not make such a book.
The publishing house considered it possible to combine the talented postcard illustrations of N. Kochergin with the talented texts of P. Bazhov.
