In the original, the comic is called Hildafolk (from the Icelandic Huldufólk, where huldu are "hidden, secret" and fólk are "people", "folk", as elves are called in Icelandic mythology). The author created a unique world in comics, inhabited by strange creatures from Scandinavian mythology.
