Katrina and her family move to the Northern California coast because her younger sister Maya is sick. Kat is not happy that she left her friends in Bahia de la Luna, but Maya has cystic fibrosis and would benefit from the fresh sea air. As the girls look around their new home, a neighbor reveals a secret to them: there are Ghosts in Bahia de la Luna. Maya is determined to meet at least one ghost, but Kat wants nothing to do with them. But as the day of the year approaches when the ghosts meet their loved ones, Kat must overcome her fear for her sister's sake - and for herself.
