It is impossible to get bored with these comical and sweet friends: no matter what business they take on, it turns out fun, noisy, ridiculous and very funny. They do exercises (Gopher for themselves and for Khoma) and swim in the ice-hole in winter (adding boiling water from the kettle there), share peas and fish, tell scary stories and sing songs (having tied an antenna to their tail), and they never lose heart.
Oleg Goncharov painted them so funny and glorious that it is now especially pleasant to get to know them.
