Aleksandr Kuprin: The Garnet Bracelet. The Duel. Olesya. Printed book.

Alexander Ivanovich Kuprin is an outstanding master of words, an heir to the realistic traditions of classical Russian literature. This edition includes the most famous works by Alexander Kuprin, including the novellas "Olesya," "The Garnet Bracelet," "The Pit," and "The Duel," as well as the short stories "The White Poodle," "A Sprig of Lilac," "The Blue Star," and others.
“The Garnet Bracelet” is a sad novella about a love lost forever, scattered to the winds by the melody of a Beethoven sonata.
“The Duel” is one of the writer's most famous and perhaps his best work. Based on the author's memories of his military service, "The Duel" creates a truthful picture of army life while telling a poignant love story that became a story of the victory of the human spirit.
“Olesya” is the story of a love between a nobleman's son and Olesya, a young witch living in the forest, which was not destined to have a happy ending—whether it was dark forces, prejudices, or simply fate that separated the lovers forever.
