The fairy tale "Ourfin Deuce and His Wooden Soldiers" is a continuation of A. Volkov's fairy tale "The Wizard of the Emerald City". It tells how the evil carpenter Oorfene Deuce made wooden soldiers and conquered Fairyland. Ellie and her uncle, the sailor Charlie Black, hurried to the rescue of its inhabitants.
