A typical book is made like this: a writer or poet composes text and gives it to an artist to draw illustrations. But with this book, it happened the other way around! Honored Artist of Russia Viktor Chizhikov spent over half a century drawing for magazines — "Murzilka," "Veselye Kartinki," "Pioner," as well as adult publications like "Vokrug Sveta" and "Krokodil." Quite recently, Andrey Usachev collected these drawings and wrote fun poems to go with them. Thus, two Masters — a remarkable Artist and a talented Poet — built an entire "City of Laughter," where riddles and counting rhymes, funny mix-ups and absurdities, and even... fun drawing lessons await children on its pages!
