Nine-year-old Mark doesn't have a grandfather. Or rather, he might have one, but his grandmother flat-out refuses to talk about it. So, Mark begins his own investigation, during which he learns about a rare camera model, starts corresponding with famous photographers, gets hooked on photography himself, and finally, by pure chance, finds his grandfather in the Netherlands.
Ludmila Ulitskaya: "Finally, Russia has its first modern children's book of the 21st century. Not a fairy tale, not a detective story, but a wonderful story about a boy of today. You won't be able to put it down! Read this remarkable book, 'Let's Go to Unalaska'! I would go there myself!"
