The book "Nickname: Fork" tells the story of a teenage girl searching for her identity. A wild imagination and boundless energy sometimes lead Fork into funny and absurd situations. Fork is almost thirteen and keeps a diary. She has two best friends and a secret (though not so secret anymore!) admirer, Kuzin. She also has a dad and a grandmother. But Fork doesn't have a mom. Still, she doesn't lose heart. Her boundless energy and irrepressible imagination keep her from getting bored: Fork decorates a window display in a second-hand bookstore, hunts for a ghost on the roof, sells pies in an underpass, talks her grandmother into knitting sweaters for penguins, and keeps trying again and again to hide the BIGGEST ear IN THE WORLD. But one day, Fork is sent to England - supposedly to practice her language skills... But the girl has no idea what awaits her there.
