"The Mango Gods" is the fifth installment in " Beastly Detective ". The Badgers of the Far Forest Police go on a business trip to the African savannah to investigate the kidnapping of the Exquisite Giraffe's cub, the newborn giraffe Rafik.
Mortal danger accompanies the Badgers of the Police constantly. After all, the Far Woodland spares no one: neither strangers nor its own. This is a terrible and dangerous place where cruelty and lawlessness reign, brutal sacrifices are made and the right of the strong operates.
But for a brave and honest beast, Woodlands can also become a place of power, helping the beast to find himself and true love. Badger Senior, Badgercat and Vulture Vulture do not back down in the face of difficulties. They are conducting an investigation, guided by the fair principles by which the inhabitants of their native Far Forest live.
However, unraveling this complex matter does not mean winning. It is necessary to tell the inhabitants of Woodlands the hard truth that has been revealed. But the powers that be do not need the truth at all.
