The Far Sparsewood is one of the most dangerous places on the Earth Board. Here, every animal has something to hide and everyone has a dark past. It doesn't matter who rules this cruel, sun-scorched forest—the giraffe clan or the lion pride—the ancient law of the savanna is unchanging and merciless: the strong devour the weak. Local resident Karalina the caracal could fly off to the prosperous Far Forest with the "Stork Wedge," since not only her beloved Badgercat is waiting for her there, but also a job in the police. But if she becomes a badger of the police there, who will be the caracal of the police here? Who will ensure justice for the hoofed, the feathered, the mongoose-kind, the arthropods, and the other disenfranchised inhabitants of the Sparsewood? Who will solve the complex case? Who will realize that the criminal is not only forging cocoa-nuts but also committing far more brutal crimes? Who will record the answers to the cursed questions in a diary?
There is no doubt that badgers of the police are unrivaled detectives, but take note: at the other end of the boundless Earth Board, a new branch has opened, and caracals of the police are now in on the action too! For animals and children of primary and middle school age, as well as their parents, grandparents.
