"A Christmas Carol in Prose" is a fairy-tale novella by the great English classic Charles Dickens (1812–1870) about a miserly old man with a heart of stone, who, thanks to the spirits of Christmas, found a new lease on life and transformed into the good-natured, generous, and universally beloved Uncle Scrooge. The clinking of coins is the sweetest sound to Mr. Scrooge. The sound of happy voices is hateful to him. "No warmth could warm him," and no frost could chill this gloomy miser.
But one day, on Christmas Eve, Scrooge's heart beat with a force unseen for him: his old partner paid him a visit. A partner who had died long ago... The spirit of this mystical story is conveyed by magical illustrations.
