Fram the circus polar bear was an unrivaled performer, but then suddenly he could no longer dance, play the accordion, or perform acrobatic acts—he was homesick for his native ice and snow. Kind people took him to America. But Fram had lived among people almost since birth—he was captured as a small cub by Eskimos, and later sailors brought him to a southern port city and sold him to the circus—and so he knew almost nothing about his harsh homeland. What will his return home be like, and how will the story of this kind, non-predatory bear end?...
