"Fold-and-Read" books are a unique tool for practicing reading and fine motor skills. Children assemble phrases and even dialogues between characters. The stories become even more engaging, and the folding tasks become more complex. To put together the pictures and sentences, the child will need to perform dozens of coordinated movements: holding and tearing a sheet from the workbook, folding it at a specific angle, and creasing the fold lines.
Did it work? Great, the story is ready. All that remains is to read the dialogue formed from the sentences. After solving the first puzzle, the child will be eager to learn how to fold the sheets correctly and practice reading complex sentences.
The tasks for these workbooks were designed by a team of psychologists and specialists in game-based learning. They are parents themselves and know firsthand what is important for children. Each page is an interesting spatial reasoning task.
