Poems for the youngest readers about animals you might meet in the countryside, see on the street, or pet at a petting zoo. Your child will learn about the habits and characteristics of each one. Whose fur grows in little curls? Which poultry wakes everyone up in the morning, and which is considered the most feisty? Who loves chewing on juicy grass, and who loves wallowing in a puddle? You can find the answers to all these questions by opening this book of poems by Daria Mironova, illustrated by Daria Beklemesheva, a diploma winner of the international "Image of the Book" award. Each character in the illustrations has their own personality: a playful dog, an important cat, a calm cow, and sweet sheep—you'll want to take a good look at them all in the book and meet them in real life as soon as possible. The book is made of thick cardboard with rounded edges, making it perfect as a baby's first book.
