Dave Wallis was an English novelist, best known for his dystopian novel "Only Lovers Left Alive." In the mid-60s, there were plans to adapt the book into a film featuring members of The Rolling Stones, but the project was never produced.
An epidemic of suicides breaks out in Great Britain. Every day, more and more adults decide to end it all. Soon, London is left in the care of teenagers. Ernie and his gang break into sealed apartments, throw parties, and enjoy their freedom. But the supplies of canned food are dwindling, gasoline is becoming worth its weight in gold, and the lights in the houses go out for good. Ernie’s gang will have to do battle with the powerful Kings, who have occupied Windsor Castle. Then, fleeing the plague, they must leave the city and try to survive a struggle against nature. Does this new world have a chance at a future?
