When Greg’s parents decide to pack up the kids and escape their hometown's dreary winter weather for the warmth of a tropical island, they have no idea what they're in for. What was supposed to be a stress-free, heavenly vacation turns into a nightmare at an overcrowded resort, where Greg and his family have to fight for their place in the sun. Meanwhile, the Heffleys' list of troubles grows every day: heatstroke, food poisoning, an invasion of hungry birds—and, finally, an epic finale involving a real chase!
