In the Forest more often, immediately behind the Rabbit's hole and next to the Owl's hollow, live the balanced, delicate and reasonable mouse Smysh and the eccentric, capricious, selfish, but captivating with his childish spontaneity, the mole Roy. Their days are filled with a variety of events: in eight short stories, they make plans for tomorrow, roast chestnuts and bake muffins in an apple-wood fireplace, start cleaning, quarrel and make up, go on a picnic, walk in the forest, where they find the Sword -shoulders and Nonsense-what-a-puddle, and then they throw pebbles into the pond and talk about the meaning of life. So, behind ordinary deeds and conversations, they unexpectedly begin to see the unusual in everyday life. And they understand that they themselves are also unusual!

Cute stories about two inseparable friends Smysh and Roy were written by British writer Joyce Dunbar. And the wonderful British artist James Mayhew painted, who liked this cute couple so much that he filled their world with things and objects from his own life.
