It’s nice to have a friend you can visit, have tea and sweets with, and talk about everything. Cheburashka, the favorite character of all children, has such a friend – of course, it's Gena the Crocodile! But what do you do if you want to invite a friend over in return, but you don't have a kettle or any sweets? You'll find out in this book!
Eduard Nikolayevich Uspensky is a classic of Russian children's literature. He also wrote very short tales about Cheburashka and Gena the Crocodile. In this book, almost every phrase in the story is accompanied by an illustration, and the story can be followed through the pictures.
This book is designed specifically for little ones: it features bright drawings and large letters, the sturdy cardboard won't tear during reading, and the rounded corners won't hurt little fingers.
