Hergé: The Adventures of Tintin. Pharaoh cigars
The usual price $37.95This story begins on a cruise ship where Tintin meets the eccentric Philemon Cyclone, an Egyptology professor who dreams of finding the tomb of Pharaoh Khi-Osk. Tintin stands up for the scientist before the film mogul Rastapopoulos, and then drugs are planted in his cabin and the policemen Dupond and Dupont put him in the hold under arrest. Tintin manages to escape. On the shore, he meets the professor and joins his expedition. An ancient papyrus leads them to a tomb, the entrance to which is marked with the Khi-Oska sign. Exactly the same sign is on the cigar Milu found nearby. And in the tomb itself, Tintin discovers a whole warehouse of such cigars! And he also sees there sarcophagi with the mummies of scientists who tried to uncover the secret of the pharaoh. And among them are three empty ones - for Tintin, Milu and the professor, who, as if on purpose, disappeared somewhere ... So Tintin accidentally attacks the trail of an international organization of drug traffickers. From Egypt, the investigation takes him to India, where he manages to neutralize the top of the gang, with the exception of the mysterious leader, who found death at the bottom of the gorge. But the story doesn't end there. Its continuation awaits us in the next volume of "Blue Lotus".
