Maya stands at the edge of the forest. The trees intertwine to form a dark tunnel that she must enter for some reason. Fear paralyzes her movements, Maya screams and wakes up. It is only a dream. But why has it haunted her for years, making her freeze in terror every single time?
Maya would never have known the answer if it weren't for her six-year-old brother. The forest is a border between two realities, and little Roby, having accidentally passed through it in his sleep, is now unable to find his way back. The only guide is Maya herself. The young woman has only three days to find the boy. If she fails, she will never be able to return. And the worst part is that behind the forest, strangers like her are considered monsters and are executed. Maya must not only save her brother but also remember what happened to her own self many years ago.
The reader will have to piece together the puzzle alongside Maya, deciding who is a friend and who is an enemy.
