Each spread features an entertaining text in verse, which helps to master reading skills more quickly. All words in the poems are divided into syllables, helping the child smoothly transition from syllabic reading to reading whole words. To create a vivid impression of what has been read, each poem is illustrated with a picture that the child is invited to color with pencils. After each poem, questions are provided to check comprehension, which develops the child's reading awareness and coherent speech.
