It's called "My Beloved Country" - and it talks about how Russia slowly slipped into war. Kostyuchenko is one of the most famous Russian journalists. During the first weeks of the full-scale Russian invasion of 2022, she worked in Ukraine and produced several texts for Novaya Gazeta that became important evidence of the war and crimes committed by the Russian military. During the war, Elena Kostyuchenko had to leave Russia for Germany. Later, already on the territory of Germany, they apparently tried to poison her.
