Good stories about little Goat and his friend Donkey were written by the wonderful children's poetess Emma Moshkovskaya.
In this book, poetry and prose alternate and intertwine - the result is light and short fairy tales. In the timid Goat and the stubborn Donkey, the kids recognize themselves: they learn to be friends, play and share together, they get upset, offended and even quarrel, go to school for the first time and perform small feats. Bright, touching illustrations for this book were drawn by Diana Lapshina, and each picture has so much tenderness and charm that looking at them is a real pleasure for both kids and adults.
