"Us Against You" continues the story begun in the book "Beartown" about the small town of Björnstad, lost in the forests of northern Sweden. Its inhabitants are stern, proud, and hardworking people, not accustomed to expecting favors from fate. All their hopes for a better future are tied to the local hockey team, which is counting on a victory in the national tournament. But tragic events on the eve of the most important game divide the town’s population into two camps, and the club faces the threat of closure: its best players, and then the coach, leave for a rival team in a neighboring town, and the sponsorship money flows there as well. The residents of "Beartown" are bewildered and devastated...
However, life gives the town a chance - new faces appear, and with them comes the possibility of reviving the beloved team, which has not been abandoned by the swift Amat, the indomitable Benji, and the good-natured, reliable Bubba.
As the decisive match approaches, the sporting rivalry increasingly grows into an open war: some, blinded by emotion, make irreparable mistakes, while others willingly pour oil onto the escalating flames of mutual hatred... What will this "us against you" lead to?
