This fairy tale with such a cold title has been warming millions of children's hearts around the world for almost 200 years. Its author is the brilliant Danish storyteller Hans Christian Andersen (1805–1875). "The Snow Queen" is a kind of calling card for "A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA" in the international book world. The book was illustrated by the famous Ukrainian master of book graphics, Vladyslav Yerko — winner of a number of prestigious art and book exhibitions, and holder of the "Person of the Book" title as the best artist of 2002 according to the Moscow-based "Knizhnoye Obozreniye". "This is perhaps the most amazing children's book I have ever seen in my life," is how the world-famous Paulo Coelho spoke about Yerko's "The Snow Queen".
