The Adventures of Kubarik and Tomatik, or Fun Mathematics. Part II. How They Searched for Losharik by Kira and Genrikh Sapgir is a sequel to the legendary mathematical fairy tales by Genrikh Sapgir, the book that is the best starting point for the journey into this wonderful science.
Tomatik and Kubarik set off in search of their friend Losharik. But finding him is not easy; there is so much one must know! Together with the book's characters, children learn to orient themselves in space and time, get acquainted with numbers, cardinal and ordinal counting, and gain an understanding of geometric shapes. And fun games and tasks, provided in the didactic materials for parents, help them consolidate their knowledge.
As in the first book, the reissue preserves the original texts and illustrations, while the materials for parents have been adapted by Yulia Lugovskaya.
