In an ordinary pea pod lived five little green peas. Life was good and cozy for the peas inside the pod, yet they still felt that the time would come for them to leave their little home, and they were confident in their inevitably bright future. When the pod turned yellow and dried out, a little boy picked it and shot all five peas through a pea shooter wherever they might land. And how very different their fates turned out to be!..
