Behind the garden of the Chinese emperor, in the forest, lived a little gray Nightingale. He sang so wonderfully that poems were written about him and books were written. The emperor himself could not hold back his tears, listening to his singing - this was the best reward for the singer! But once an artificial nightingale studded with precious stones was delivered to the palace, and the real bird became uninteresting to people.
One day the Emperor fell seriously ill. He lay all alone in his luxurious bedroom, tormented by memories. Oh, how he missed the music that would drown out the whispers of the past! But the mechanical nightingale was silent, because there was no one to turn it on. And suddenly there was a wonderful singing outside the window
