An engaging plot — heartwarming kindness — modern British English!
Ellie, a golden Labrador puppy, adored her little owner, Megan, and the girl couldn't go a day without her beloved dog either. They did literally everything together: did homework, walked in the park, played, and came up with tons of fun activities. That was until the girl's parents decided to move to a new house. Trying to shield the puppy from the chaos of the move, Megan's parents left the dog with her grandmother for a few days. Not realizing what was happening, Ellie was confused and sad at first, but then she realized she had to find the girl no matter what. After all, Megan couldn't have abandoned her; it must be some kind of mistake. Ellie seized the moment and slipped out the door. But how would she find her way home? And would she find her beloved owner there?
