Jorge Luis Borges: The Garden of Forking Paths

Jorge Luis Borges is one of the most famous writers of the 20th century, having largely defined the character of modern literature. Borges’s texts, whether they be fiction, poetry, or essays, represent a unique intellectual game—they are full of mysteries and fantastic images, the origins of which should be sought in the literatures and cultures of the past.
This edition includes the complete contents of two collections of fiction by J. L. Borges: "The Garden of Forking Paths" and "Fictions." Magical stories stand alongside detective plots, and descriptions of imaginary civilizations alongside the adventures of Argentine smugglers.
