Inga Soms is a poet and prose writer, winner of the Korneychukov Prize and the "Kora-Stikh" children's poetry festival.
Inga Soms's new novella, "I Dare You!", tells the story of Vasilisa, a girl with very beautiful long hair. Vaska is going to camp for the first time in her life, and not just any camp, but a sports camp. There, she plays tennis, makes friends, and meets Mark. Driven by naivety and a crush, Vaska makes a bet with another girl. If Vasilisa loses, she has to shave her head. But is hair really worth more than love? Or is that too high a price to pay for the feeling of superiority over a rival?
