One day, Bear found three delicious mushrooms in the forest and brought them home. At home, his neighbor and friend Ferret washed them thoroughly and fried them in oil in a large pan, making sure to season them with salt, pepper, and fresh parsley. Meanwhile, Bear set the table. And finally, the friends sat down to have lunch. But then a question arose: how to divide the mushrooms fairly? After all, three cannot be divided by two. Each insisted that the extra mushroom should go to him and offered compelling reasons, which were immediately disputed by the other. The friends almost fell out, but fortunately, the situation was saved just in time by a ginger Fox who appeared out of nowhere.
A book for children aged 3–5 who have to share things "fairly" almost every day with their siblings, friends, and complete strangers at the playground.
