In the fantasy story Alice and the Beast, the main character, Alisa Selezneva, travels by time machine to the era of legends that existed between the third and fourth ice ages. Here she will meet with wizards, gnomes, dragons and goblin, who turned out to be quite real creatures.
The book also includes stories about how Alice went on a time machine to look for treasure at the bottom of Lake Sumlevskoe, then traveled around the world in three hours, learned how to synthesize plant growth hormone, met a Terrible Beast on a "quiet" planet ... and, finally, met with aliens in the Great Guslyar.
