This collection presents songs, fairy tales, and riddles about the cat — a vibrant and unusual character in folklore and literature. The little cat loves to warm himself on the stove and snack on sour cream or a mouse, but he is also a clever fellow and a fearless warrior who always comes to his friends' aid, watches over young children, and brings them dreams.
The book's illustrations were created by the classic children's book illustrator Yuri Alexeyevich Vasnetsov. In the characters created by the artist live kindness, true wonders, and sincere love for young readers.
