An educational book about nature for children living in the city, written from the perspective of a 6–9-year-old girl. The book contains many scientific facts, as well as simple ideas, tips, and recommendations. Linnea is named after a small pink forest flower. But if Linnea is a flower, she is an urban one: she lives in the center of Stockholm. Some people think that there is no nature in the city, but that is not the case at all. Linnea shares many interesting things about what happens to urban nature throughout the different seasons: which birds can be encountered on the street, whether there is life under the snow, and how to start a small garden right on your windowsill.
