Linnea is a little girl who loves flowers very much. Together with her friend, Mr. Bloom the gardener, she takes a trip to Paris, the home of the great artist Claude Monet. They manage not only to visit the museum where his paintings are kept but also to peek into the artist's house, look at the flowers in his garden, and walk across the famous Japanese bridge that Monet depicted so often on his canvases. And they learn the most interesting things about Monet's life from his great-grandson, whom they met near Monet's house.
"Linnea in Monet's Garden" is a book about art written especially for children. It has been translated into 30 languages, with more than 700,000 copies sold in America alone!
