Fanny Rainville, Élodie Duhameau: The Orchestral Child

Elizabeth was born with a trumpet in her hands. As she grows up, new instruments appear, but the problem is that she often plays them at the wrong time. At school, her classmates are particularly exasperated by being interrupted in the middle of a dictation. The instruments that Elizabeth loved so much now seem quite cumbersome to her, until a conductor shows her that her difference is actually a gift.

A story that deals with Tourette syndrome without naming it, which also allows the book to be used to address hyperactivity or the feeling of taking up too much space.
