The skating lesson

Today is my first skating lesson.
I will fly through the air, land on one foot
and spin so fast that you won’t even be able to see me!

Claire is eager to get on the ice and skate over and over again! She is going to jump, leap, and twirl! Just wait: soon, she will be on television and dazzling audiences all over the world. But when Claire arrives at the rink for her very first lesson, things don’t go as she had imagined. Beginners have to wear horrible brown skates. And who wants to practice walking in place when they should be learning to jump and leap?
