Lars Mæhle: Dinosaur Friends. Super Race. Printed book.

Every book in the "Dino Friends" series tells the story of one day in the life of Rasmus Rex the Tyrannosaurus and his best friend, Trim the Troodon. On this particular day, the Swamp Forest Super Race began in Dinozavria. It was held in Dinozavria every year, but Rasmus and Trim had never participated before—they had nothing to race in. But this year, they had a car. Trim had stumbled upon it in his grandfather’s secret room of mechanisms and inventions and persuaded him to get the car ready for the Super Race. Grandpa Troodon came up with a bunch of useful modifications, and the old car was transformed—it became fast, agile, and safe. For the first time in their lives, Trim the driver and Rasmus the navigator were about to tackle a challenging track. Despite this, Trim was confident they would win. Rasmus, on the other hand, strongly doubted they could overcome all the obstacles and beat Freddy the Fukuitraptor—a super-racer who had been the champion for the last five years. The friends didn't win the race, but they did manage to expose Freddy the Fukuitraptor as the cheating, bungling champion he was.
The series about the adventures of the dino friends was written and illustrated by author Lars Mæhle and artist Lars Rudebjer. Together, they created the entire land of Dinozavria, where something funny and unexpected awaits children on every page. The book contains many dialogues, making it perfect for reading aloud and role-playing with children aged 4 and up.
In addition to an engaging plot and cute characters, the book includes a small educational section. It tells you which dinosaurs were the fastest (without any cars) and how scientists know how fast dinosaurs ran—even though they all died out a long, long time ago!
