Lars Mæhle, Lars Rudebjer: Dinosaur Friends. The Challenge

Each book in the "Dino Buddies" series tells a story about one day in the life of Rasmus Rex the Tyrannosaurus and his best friend, Trim the Troodon. That morning, Rasmus opened his eyes and realized he had overslept. Anxiety crept into his heart: usually, Trim would wake him up, but today, Trim hadn't come. Had something terrible happened? Rasmus set off to find his friend in the swampy forest, even though going there alone was terrifying. At their secret playground, he finally saw Trim, but he wasn't alone; he was with a strange flying dinosaur. Trim and his new pal were swinging on the swings and laughing, paying no attention to Rasmus at all. Rasmus stood there for a while, then trudged home. He had never felt so lost and unwanted before. Do real friends act like that? Soon, Trim caught up with Rasmus, apologized, and the misunderstanding was instantly forgotten. And so, the friendship between the little dinosaurs passed the test of time.

The series of books about the adventures of the dino buddies was written and illustrated by author Lars Mæhle and artist Lars Rudebjer. They created the entire land of Dinosaura, where something funny and unexpected awaits children on every page. The book contains many dialogues, making it perfect for reading aloud and role-playing with children aged 4 and up.

In addition to an engaging plot and charming characters, the book includes a small educational section that explains who dinosaurs were, when they lived on Earth, and why they disappeared. It also provides interesting facts about the real dinosaurs that inspired the heroes of this book.
