A magical incident happened to the story's protagonist, fourth-grader Vitya Perestukin, a poor student and slacker who hated doing his homework: he found himself, in a truly extraordinary way, in the Land of Unlearned Lessons. And it was here that the boy had to come face to face with all the mistakes he had made while rushing through his assignments. What is Vitya to do? Why, correct his mistakes, of course! Otherwise, he will never be able to return from this magical land... Lia Geraskina’s fairytale trilogy about the adventures of Vitya Perestukin and his friends in the Land of Unlearned Lessons is beloved by many generations of schoolchildren. The illustrations for the book were created by People's Artist of Russia Victor Chizhikov, a winner of numerous professional competitions and recipient of one of the most prestigious awards in children's literature, the Hans Christian Andersen Honorary Diploma.
