Everything could have turned out differently if Alina hadn't ended up in Margarita Semyonovna's class—Marsem. It was she who helped the boys believe in themselves, performing the feat of all feats against the Black Dragon. It was she who organized the first ball for the girls, where Cinderellas turned into real princesses. It was she who taught her students to count using their fingers and toes, to love good books, to be friends... And Marsem also told them about angels—that they need to rest. But they can only do so when their charges aren't doing anything bad and aren't getting into difficult situations. After all, angels have so much to do all over the world, which means they must be allowed to go where they are truly needed.
But before Alina learned about this, many events took place in her life: visits from V.G., the disappearance of magnets from lockers, unrequited love, and the arrival of a new student who disrupted the habitual rhythm of life in the fourth grade.
